Inesol's directors are certified in the government's Project Management methodology Prince2, and we are committed to running projects properly according to this methodology. We do however temper it slightly to bring it more in line with practicality, especially on smaller projects.

Inesol are also fully commited to ISO9000 and expect to achieve ISO9001 accreditation later this year. This is particularly important to us as we offer consultancy on ISO Quality Management Software.We are also a member of the ethical business practices committee.

Normally we will start a project with a series of meetings to produce a Project Initiation Document in which business objectives, key stakeholders, and quantitive (S.M.A.R.T) success criteria are determined. The customer is then given access to our secure internet project server (see below) and a detailled analysis phase is carried out. We make heavy use of Powerpoint storyboards in this phase in order to allow both sides to make detailled changes prior to coding. This process also helps to get buy-in from end users who begin to feel that they own the system much earlier on.

We normally invoice 1/3 o the project costs on analysis in order to ensure that a sufficiently accurate and detailled study is done. We may also use this time to aquire qualifications in our customer's industry if we do not already have them.

Once critical key stage documents (including functional spec and the powerpoint slides) are approved by the project board, we progress to the build phase. In the build phase we use MS Project Server and give customers direct access to this system. We will have fortnightly progress meetings with minutes emailled out, plus a supporting internet site. After build the second third is payable. Finally projects spend a month or two in User Acceptance Testing. Only after final acceptance is the final third payable.

We offer a lifetime warrenty on all our sotware, whereby bugs identified as being our fault are fixed for free at any time. We believe our after sales service is match by no one.
